Won Taco (mini tacos with Won Ton wrappers) recipe courtesy of Kapiolani Community College, Culinary Arts Program. Serve these delicious treats with some Salsa Roja.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef, 90% lean
- 1/4 cup Taco seasoning
- 2 green bell pepper, 1/2" dice
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 30 won ton wrappers
- 1 pkg Mexican blend shredded cheese
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 small head iceberg lettuce
Instructions
- Mix taco seasoning with beef.
- Sauté minced garlic, diced onion, seasoned ground beef, bell pepper in 2 Tbsp. olive oil.
- Spray Pam on muffin tins (or brush lightly with oil).
- Place Won Ton wrappers in each cup in muffin tins, spray Pam on surface of Won Ton wrappers. Bake for 6-‐8 minutes at 350oF until golden brown.
- Fill with ground beef mixture.
- Top with shredded lettuce, cheese, Salsa Roja.
